Sorry for not writing in SO long.
Ideas are interesting things. Anyone can think of one, but only some can think of good ones. We forget the bad ones and even the good ones and never see them again. But if you're wise you'll write them down, but if your not wise, you don't care about ideas and force them out of your mind; even the good ones.
They are key components of writing, so try to not forget about them(they're everywhere).
I think that the good ideas are never really forgotten but buried in your unconscious mind. Sometimes they'll reappear in a dream or when you're thinking of something else. Your mind will reach back into its repository, pull out an association, and all of a sudden that good idea pops back into your head!
